What decision analysis means here

Read against the instrument, every time.

Registration, course accreditation and self-accrediting authority are decisions TEQSA makes under the TEQSA Act 2011 — sections 18(1), 38 and 45(1) respectively — assessed against the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021. Our decision analysis names the standard at issue, quotes its exact title and explains what the decision signals for comparable providers.

Two recurring obligations anchor much of the compliance cycle we cover: accredited courses must undergo comprehensive review at least every seven years (HESF 5.3), and governing bodies must commission a periodic independent review of their own effectiveness at least every seven years (HESF 6.1).

A note from the deskCommentary, not consulting

This desk publishes analysis and commentary. It does not provide consulting services, provider registration or course accreditation support under the media brand — those services sit with AHEG. Editorial independence is the point.
